    Project Description    
The Mason Conservation District will replace the three Jurges culverts that are on Enetai Creek, a tributary to Puget Sound near Bremerton. The three culverts that are currently there are all barriers to fish passage and will be replaced, the lower most site will be replaced with a 36' by 14' concrete bridge, the next crossing will be replaced with a 40' by 14' steel bridge and the uppermost site will be replaced with a 16'4" wide by 5'11" high aluminum box culvert. Correction of all 3 barrier culverts would improve access to 0.67 miles of habitat to the next upstream total barrier at Trenton Ave. Habitat quality is very good at the Jurges site almost up to the Trenton road culvert where the channel is scoured to hardpan for about 100ft downstream.
