The proposed project development effort will build a portfolio of feeder bluff restoration projects in WRIA6 that will address sediment supply degradation to shoreline drift cells, achieving salmon recovery goals of improving shoreline habitat and habitat-forming processes. Projects will be developed by identifying and prioritizing feasible armor removal projects at historic feeder bluffs (sediment source bluffs) and by employing focused outreach to achieve landowner willingness to participate in restoration activities.3-5preliminarydesigns for select projects will be completed. The project employs a three-phase approach to achieve a list of ‘ready to proceed’ feeder bluff restoration projects.
