The Snohomish Conservation District will work with the Livingston Bay Community to build 2-3 demonstration projects involving native shoreline plantings and soft shore protection using natural materials. The SCD will work with the Island County Shore Stewards and the Island County Marine Resources Committee for the education and outreach component, including encouraging the use of shore-friendly protection practices among low bank shoreline landowners and facilitating shoreline living workshops and garden tours.
